What is Breathwork?
Conscious connected breathing, also know as circular breathing. It is a powerful and safe breathing technique that infuses the body with life force/prana/chi thereby healing any physical, emotional, or psychological distress. It teaches you to be fully present in your body, creating higher levels of awareness, increased health and vitality and an overall sense of well being. More importantly it facilitates an opening to high levels of consciousness and more power behind you intentions for deliberate manifestations. Breathwork creates a safe environment in the mind so that the body can organically release charges of past unresolved trauma, unprocessed emotional blockages and negative mental mass.
Breathwork also supports personal growth helping one to understand and release blocks to individual self-esteem, healthy relationships and family dynamics. One can not change the past only the relationship to it.
Oxygenation is the key to living a healthy and harmonic life.
Medical research shows that ninety percent of the body's energy is produced by oxygen and that the more oxygen we have in our system, the more energy we produce. Our ability to think, feel, and act comes from the energy produced by oxygen. Most of us breathe shallowly, barely using one-fith of the lungs' capacity to increase oxygen flow to their bodies, but on top of it, there is much less oxygen in the air to breathe. Today more than ever we need to choose conscious breathing. Here is what medical research has to say:
"Insufficient oxygen means insufficient biological energy that can result in anything from mild fatigue to life-threatening disease. The connection between insufficient oxygen and disease has now been firmly established."
— Dr. W. Spencer Way
Quoted in the American Association of Physicians
"Oxygen gets rid of toxicity. Bacteria, viruses and parasites are destroyed in the presence of oxygen, especially cancer." - Dr. Alec Borsenko
"Lack of oxygen clearly plays a major role in causing cells to become cancerous." -Dr. Harry Goldblatt
"Cancerous cells like to reproduce themselves in tissues where the concentration of oxygen is low. Oxygen deficiency is the major factor to blame for conditions such as cerebral apoplexy, heart disease, arteriosclerosis, liver disease and hysteromyoma."
- Dr. Koyamauchi Hiroshi
"My research has convinced me that lack of oxygen is the root of most or perhaps even all disease." - Dr. Shizuo Inoue
"Oxygen plays a pivotal role in the proper functioning of the immune system; i.e. resistance to disease, bacteria and viruses." - Dr. Parris Kidd
How do I begin?
It is recommended that you do a series of ten-fifteen privates. The purpose of this is to build a trusting relationship with a breathworker and to maintain that relationship long enough to realize and integrate the cumulative results. For the second level, it is recommended that you complete another series of ten sessions with a facilitator of the opposite sex.
In most people's experience, a relatively short-term commitment to the Rebirthing process brings long-term and life-transforming results. Often, after only fifteen to twenty sessions, you will be able to start breathing yourself. You will always see value however, in periodic sessions with a professional breathworker. You can also attend group classes and seminars to speed up your process. See the Events page for details.
“ Through "conscious connected breathing" you receive more life force energy than normally. As this force flows through, it brings awareness to all the areas in the body/mind that is blocked for the purpose of release. It brings the unconscious to the conscious without drugs or hypnosis so that one can change sabotaging thoughts and patterns. It helps clear psychosomatic ailments. It helps clear relationships and sexual issues; it opens you up when you feel stuck or shutdown. It is emotional release work. It helps release traumatic birth memories or past lives. It accelerates your growth immensely and gives you a divine experience. It is the fast purification method I have ever used.” Sondra Ray- Founder of the LRT.
